It is time we got real about women’s bodies and body fat levels. The media, magazines, fashion and clothing industry, the diet industry, and also the fitness and personal training industry has a lot to answer for.

I am seeing far too many women in my clinic lately that are beaten down, stressed out, exhausted from training and hating their bodies… and trying to attain what is NOT natural for a woman.

Love is Everything….

This week I saw many lessons of LOVE.

The most powerful love I felt was in my clinic room, and was the love of a mother; and the angel that was around her. It filled my room with a golden light that words cannot even describe. And I realised that without love in our hearts, both my client and I would not have seen or experienced this love either.

Do you know how truly loved and supported you are? If you stop and listen you can feel it… there are no words to describe it but you will know. And when you start to ‘listen’ the answers will come even when you don’t even know the question.

Things I Learnt this Week…..

Hello everyone,

This has been another busy week, leaving very little time for writing so I am sharing some highlights and lowlights and well, issues that are worth placing some attention on.

Firstly Fukushima

I am both heartbroken and terrified as the extent of the damage to our planet and survival posed by Fukushima, unravels into my reality. It would seem that we have pushed and shoved mother earth to the point of almost no return. What can we do? Own it, be responsible for it, pray for it? There are only a few solutions available to our own personal control and I see these as shopping responsibly, and supporting the movement of sustainable local and organic food producers. How do you do yours?

I wanted to share with you all the recipe for bone broth that I recommend to my clients. Bone broth is an amazing nourishing and healing food; especially for those on a gastrointestinal healing programme, recovering from illness, going through the wringer with food poisoning (add brown rice or quinoa to the broth), or if embarking on a nutrition bomb-packed detox (if detoxing aim to add some sea-weed to the mix).

Simply make a giant pot of the steaming healing liquid and enjoy often during the day.

Extra can safely be frozen in Pyrex dishes or glass jam jars and removed from the freezer the night before you plan on enjoying to permit the soup to defrost naturally.
