Summer food days…


Here are some neat finds from the www to give your plenty of BBQ food ideas; I will keep adding to this list as I find more. This is done in a little bit of a hurry as the sun is shining and I have a bike ride calling me 🙂


How to cook the perfect steak:



I marinade steaks in a mix of Dijon mustard, olive oil, steak seasoning, salt (rough grains), pepper, and a dash of gluten-free soya sauce or balsamic vinegar. We pummel it into the steak using forks.

Here is a neat recipe that I haven’t yet tried although it is very similar to my Herb Blitz recipe:

Perfect sweet potato fries:


Simply slather all the following on your sliced sweet potato chunks (easiest using clean hands) and bake in the oven at 220 C for approximately 30 to 45 minutes depending on the thickness of your sweet potato and how well you like them done: Extra virgin olive oil, paprika, rosemary, and sea salt.
